To help diversify incomes away from cocoa farming, we’re training and providing access to other activities to generate income. This includes cassava and plantain growing and livestock rearing. One new example is beekeeping, which is appropriate as it doesn’t require land and only some simple materials. The activity is still small scale with 13 farmers trained and five now actively keeping bees. Watch the video to find out more.
