COCOA PLAN FARMERS ARE TRAINED IN ISSUES OF RECOGNITION AND CONTROL OF PESTS AND DISEASES IN COCOA CULTIVATION28 NOV 2018
Nestlé Ecuador, through its Cocoa Plan program, coordinated efforts with ECUAQUIMICA company to train 35 farmers in San Jacinto del Búa (Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas), in issues of recognition and control of pests and diseases in the cocoa cultivation. The objective of this workshop was to train farmers about the recognition of pests and diseases that affect the cocoa crop and how to control them through the different mechanisms controls.
